It is our purpose to be a church where worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and service take place. Our mission is for every believer to connect, grow and serve.
Connect with others
Connecting believers together is of prime importance. The Bible reminds us as Christians that fellowship and connection within the Body of Christ is of great value. We desire for every person that attends East Market Church to connect with one another.
Our primary focus for connection is within our Bible Studies as well as our Cafe before Sunday service.
Plugging into a Bible Study, visiting our Cafe and other fellowship events we offer throughout the year, allows for great opportunity for connection, relationships, and encouragement.
Grow in Him
We desire for every person to have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. It is also our desire then, for each person to be experiencing growth in that relationship. The Word of God is a necessary ingredient for growth in the life of a believer. Therefore, we encourage all of our members to be studying God’s Word.
To help cultivate spiritual growth in our body, we offer a variety of Bible studies and age-specific classes throughout the week.
The preaching of the Word of God is of highest priority in each of our main services on Sunday mornings. We see this time as an opportunity for challenge and growth.
In addition, we have several different bible studies offered throughout the week and month. Visit our Bible Studies page for more information.
One-on-one mentoring and discipleship is also available to those who would desire it.
Serve your world
God’s desire is for his children to be actively serving Him. We see this example set by Jesus himself, as he came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom.
As followers of Christ, we need to be actively serving Him, while also serving the those around us.
We strive to reach out to our church body and the community around us through random acts of kindness and faithful service. We pray we might reflect the depth and power of God’s unconditional love for us. Sometimes even a glimpse of that love can make all the difference in a person’s life.
Through local community projects in and outside of the church as well as day-to-day acts of kindness we can demonstrate a servant-like heart and attitude.
Whether you are looking to serve the church body or help in the community, we have several ways you can get involved at East Market Church.
Thanks for checking us out! We’re glad you’re here.
